We will send you details, updated information and an application sheet. After you return the application, we usually reply in about two weeks.
The Katelios Group is supported in all its activities by a good number of enthusiastic volunteers, especially in the summer.
The first volunteers arrive in May, just before the first turtles come to lay their eggs on the beach, in order to get everything ready. The last volunteers leave in October, when the last nests hatch.
We will consider everyone who applies to volunteer with us. We do not ask for specific skills or experience. All we need is flexibility and motivation.
Volunteers have to act responsibly at all times and adapt to living in a small community.
The minimum stay for new volunteers is one month.
Volunteers work on average 7-8 hours a day and have one day off per week.

If you want to give your contribution to preserve the environment where we all live,
if you think that nature is not there for us to exploit it,
if you look suspiciously at those who consider nature a part of ‘our resources’,
if your question is not ‘what can we make out of it?’ but rather ‘what can we do for it?’,
if you wonder how it happened that people and nature have so many conflicting interests,
if you feel that there is more to life than human life,
if you love life, and you want to see if you can understand it better,
come join us.
We’ll do something about it together.
Our wider goal is to promote the concept that we cannot destroy the place where we live.
