The Katelios Group does not oppose the development of tourism in Kefalonia. However, we do promote the concept of slow sustainable development in a carefully controlled manner. Uncontrolled development has shown many times to be unstable in the long term: look at the Spanish riviera, or just take a look around at the neighbouring island of Zakynthos.
