- Warm, dark old clothes for night watch (trousers and fleece)
- Torch with red filter for night watch (or you can simply colour the lens with red permanent marker) - only until mid August. Turtles cannot see this light wavelength particularly well
- Sun-hat, sun-cream, after-sun, sun glasses

- Good stout trainers for walking on rocky paths

Noisy flip flop slippers are not allowed on the beach at night. Some people prefer sandals, some trainers, some trekking boots, and some walk barefoot on the beach at night. It is up to you, but at least good trainers are needed to walk on the rocky coastline to get to the beach.
